Information we handle
We may receive strategy settings, selected market and test settings, uploaded CSV market data, generated report and run metadata, and messages sent to support. When paid checkout is enabled, the payment processor will handle payment details; Backtest Software will not store full card numbers.
How it is used
We use this information to validate and run the requested test, deliver and preserve the report, answer support requests, prevent misuse, and maintain the service.
Strategy privacy
Client-submitted strategy rules and uploads are not sold or placed in public samples. They are not used in our internal strategy discovery or strategy catalogue. Uploaded files are deleted after a completed report is safely stored. Reports use hard-to-guess links; anyone given a report link may be able to open it, so clients should keep those links private.
Service providers and retention
Hosting, private storage, email, and future payment providers may process only the information needed to perform their services. Reports and related run records may be retained so clients can access them and so we can support the result. To request deletion of client information, email support.
Cookies and updates
We do not currently use advertising cookies. If analytics or advertising technology is introduced, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated before that data is collected.
